100% KONA COFFEE 

Our pure 100% Kona Coffees are consistently great tasting and interesting in their aroma and flavor characteristics. The Kona Coffee beans are produced from typica, one of the great traditional cultivars of the Arabica coffee plant. Also, Kona Coffee growers on their small farms do a remarkable job tending and harvesting their coffees. Although Kona Coffees are Island grown they are not low-altitude coffees. Because Hawaii’s latitude is farther north than most other coffee growing regions, and perhaps to the cooling impact of the trade wind patterns in Kona, Hawaii, a Kona Coffee grown at 2,000 feet is equivalent in cup character to Central America coffees grown at 4,000 feet.

 

Kona Peaberry Coffee is the premier Kona whole bean coffee.  It differs from the majority of coffee beans in that it is a smaller more rounded coffee bean and does not divide into two parts.  During roasting the spherical Peaberry coffee bean tumbles evenly and creates an extremely even and flavorful roast.  Try our Royal Kona 100% Kona Peaberry Coffee.
